Canon i80 Waste Ink Tank Full
Oh joy, I've spent about 10 hours on this miserable problem. I cannot find a way to reset this code anywhere.|
Can anyone help?
Note to i80 potential purchasers, I've had this unit for 12 months and have put about 1200 sheets through it. It is now dead because of this problem. This unit shut down on me today 1.5 hrs from the office. I had to go to wal mart and buy another printer to get paperwork to my customer. Buy the HP 460-avoid a portable printer that will leave you high and dry for a completely arbitrary reason. I tore this thing all apart and the waste ink is not saturated or messy at all. There is no chance of waste ink spilling anywhere.
What a waste. This unit will not be sent to a repair center for over $100. That is insane. Why can a consumer not be allowed to reset this unit!!!!
Canon, Sorry you just lost a 20 year customer and our whole company was phazing in i90's, but not now!!! You lost us forever!
$300 printer +150 in ink=$450 With about 1200 printed sheets that comes out to around $.30 per sheet!!! Thats mighty pricey!
LET THE BUYER BEWARE, THIS IS AN AWESOME PRINTER BUT IT NOT ONLY WILL LEAVE YOU HIGH AND DRY, IT IS EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE TO OPERATE!!!
