I was able to trick my x7675 printer into accepting my refilled ink cartridges with the following procedure:
1. Unplug
2. Hold down "back" and "start" key
3. Plug in
This seemed to trick the printer into believing it was being plugged in for the first time and it "forgot" that my cartridge was "out of ink".
