SAMSUNG IMAGING UNIT !!! CLX 3170 - please help
Ok so having major issues with this - only had it six months - managed to make use of the toner more then once with refill toner so saved a bit there - then it said replace waste toner cartridge - managed to wash it and it worked - but now the message says replace imaging unit - which is ?20ish -
is there a was round it - i have only had the unit 6 months from new - any help would be greatly appreciated

I do not know a way around for the image unit, however, here is something that may help. This unit uses the same image unit as the clp-315 or clp-310. Both of these are printers only, but here in the us sell for about 120-140$ new. They come with toner cartridges, starter 750 page for the color but if you can get one in the UK for the same price as in the US that is the way I would go. The image unit is based on prints made and since you have refilled your toners, not sure how many copies you have made but maybe time for new image unit and buying the printer maybe the way to go.
